The Steam Plant Wedding Venue in Salida, Colorado

Traveling hours to find their perfect venue, Julie and Matt chose the Steam Plant in Salida, CO to spend their special day exchanging vows. The couple loves snowboarding and decided that Salida was just the place to start their journey together. The Steam Plant has a gorgeous ball room and a spacious plaza that is hugged by the Arkansas River. In July, the sunflowers grow tall to frame the perfect shot of the first look.

Julie and Matt gave their guests a grand party and did not skip out on supplying them with a rejuvenating oxygen bar. This amenity is such a great idea for guests that are traveling in from lower elevation to keep them on the dance floor all night long.

Julie’s bridal suite was a short walk from the Steam Plant in the heart of downtown. Located by the boat ramp, her luxurious condo was perfect for all the girls to get ready and has vaulted ceilings (perfect for the dress shot!) Its balcony overlooks Tenderfoot (S) mountain, the river, and where in just a few hours, where she’d go from Miss to Mrs.

Matt and his groomsmen rented a gorgeous and very picturesque Air BnB in Salida. F street is the main drive in Salida and doesn’t let you down as far as views go. The couple earlier exchanged letters that they read before the first look and wow, I can see the love and excitement these two had.

Two years later, these two are still happily married in Denver with a little baby girl.
