Ryan & Kiera can really throw a party! We met R&K over a year ago over Zoom to discuss how their special day could be captured in the best way possible. We met their dog, heard their love story, and what they were doing while they were wedding planning. “We met very unexpectedly in our third year of college through a mutual friend who is also a bridesmaid. Ryan knew Ellie from going to the School of Mines in Golden together. Kiera and Ellie are childhood friends. It only took one night and a first kiss under the fireworks the night we met to know that we’d be together for a very long time. Shortly after meeting, Ryan moved to Los Angeles for three months for an internship. We met during that summer in Las Vegas and that’s when we officially started dating. Once that summer was over, Kiera finished her undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Colorado and Ryan finished at Mines. Since then, we’ve graduated from college, started full time jobs, and moved to Pueblo with our golden retriever Finn.”
All in all, R&K chose us as their wedding photographer and videographers. It was so special to us because this was the first wedding that Sarah and I got to work together. They chose Option 4 which included second shooters and full day coverage. It was an extra special wedding for me because I’ve worked so hard the past 4 years growing my business and for Ryan & Kiera to choose, trust, and love what we provided made my heart grow 5x its normal size! I am filled with gratitude and am excited for the future weddings to come that continue to make my heart sing, bring tears to my eyes, and drag me onto the dance floor. Here’s a little q&a we exchanged about their wedding day!
Q: Tell me about your love story
A: We met very unexpectedly in our third year of college through a mutual friend who is also a bridesmaid (Ellie Monarch). Ryan knew Ellie from going to the School of Mines in Golden together. A: Our favorite part was sharing it with all our friends and family.

A: Take moments just for the two of you.
Q: What did you see from your vendors that you really appreciated?
A: I appreciated when our vendors checked in with Ryan and I to see if we needed anything throughout the day.
Q: Where was your favorite location that we took pictures?
A: By the water.
Q: What would you have wished to see from your photography team?
A: I think our team did a wonderful job and the only thing lacking was more time! We would have loved a few more family photos.
