Kate and Stan chose Salida as their wedding destination a long time ago. Stan has been coming here since he was a child and while the two are currently living in Texas, that didn’t stop them from getting married at a place that feels like home. After they received their gallery I sent the newlyweds a short and sweet questionnaire about their wedding day. Take a look see!
Q: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
A: Favorite part was definitely seeing Stan as I walked down the aisle! We loved that the weather was a little crazy but we just kept laughing about the whole thing and rolling with the punches!
Q: What do you remember most about your wedding day?
A: We seem to talk most about how much the wedding was “us”. It was relaxed and fun and we had the people that mean the most to us with us.
Q: What advice would you give other couples on their wedding day?
A: Stick to your guns! Do it how you want to and just laugh as much as you can.
Q: What did you see from your vendors that you really appreciated?
A: We really appreciated Ivy’s energy and dedication! You were such a fun addition to the wedding and it helps that you got incredible shots for us! We also appreciated Amicas! Although we didn’t get to enjoy the food as much as we would have liked, it was amazing to have them there.
Q: Where was your favorite location that we took pictures?
A: We loved the shots at Biker and Baker!
Q: What would you have wished to see from your photography team?
A: I wish I was able to have you longer! That was the only thing!

A: Absolutely! Your communication, skill and energy were amazing. We would absolutely recommend you!

A: Ivy was incredible! She was so sweet and available from the first moment we got in contact. I really appreciated our initial phone call that reinforced we would be a good fit for our big day! She asked what was most important for us and really captured it.
It feels so amazing to have a couple who wants to play in the rain and laugh when things don’t go as planned. I couldn’t have been happier to have captured such authentic smiles, tears, laughter, a soaked train, the guests cuddled up together under umbrellas, and boogers coming out of kids noses on the dance floor. Congratulations you two! I am so happy to have been your photographer and show you what you showed the rest of your wedding party that day.
